Our Story
From day one, SkyHyve has focused on improving how schools understand and use their data, going beyond surface-level statistics to provide clarity that drives real decisions.
Schools were swimming in data, yet statistical validity and accurate predictions remained elusive. In response, we united leading experts in statistics and education to build the first versions of Performance Tracking and Result Predictions. Over time, these became the foundation of our comprehensive School Statistical Suite.
From the beginning, our focus has been on giving educators real control over data exploration and analysis. We've worked tirelessly to create a platform that's not only powerful but also intuitive, making it easy for schools to extract meaningful insights and act with confidence.

Leadership
Growing up with two secondary school teachers as parents, Matthew developed a deep appreciation for the value of education from an early age. Witnessing both the challenges and rewards of teaching sparked a lasting desire to make a positive impact in the field.
While tutoring HSC Physics and Extension Mathematics, Matthew discovered a deep enthusiasm for science, mathematics, and data, recognising their potential to unlock insights, guide decisions, and enhance educational outcomes. This passion led him to a Master of Data Science at the University of Sydney, where he graduated with a High Distinction average and went on to tutor the postgraduate course Computational Statistical Methodologies.
Motivated by these experiences and guided by a clear vision for change, Matthew founded SkyHyve Pty Ltd to place genuine mathematical power in the hands of educators, equipping them with tools that enable smarter, data-driven decisions for the benefit of both teachers and students.
Under his leadership, SkyHyve is committed to delivering the highest-quality analytics solutions to schools. With passion, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of the education system, Matthew continues to guide the company's mission: to help educators turn data into real, measurable improvement.
