Our Story
Since our inception in 2019, SkyHyve has been on a mission to bring the power of advanced analytics to educators across Australia. We saw that data was being given a lot of attention, but true statistical validity and accurate predictions remained elusive. That's when we brought together some of the brightest statistical and educational minds to develop the first versions of our Performance Tracking and Result Predictions applications, which later became part of the comprehensive School Statistical Suite.
From the very beginning, our focus has been on empowering educators to have real control over their data exploration and analysis. We've worked tirelessly to enhance the user experience and make it easy for schools to gain valuable insights from their data. And along the way, we've helped numerous schools overcome their data-related challenges and make informed decisions that have driven real improvement.
Today, SkyHyve is a leading provider of education data analytics, trusted by schools to deliver the level of analysis that students and educators deserve.

Leadership
Growing up with both of his parents as secondary school teachers , Matthew has always had a deep appreciation for the importance of education. He saw firsthand the challenges and rewards of teaching, and this sparked a passion in him to make a positive impact in the field. When tutoring HSC Physics and Extension Mathematics, he developed a love for science, mathematics, and data and saw their potential to be powerful tools for achieving goals, gaining insights, and maximising utility. This motivated him to pursue a Master of Data Science at the University of Sydney, where he excelled with a High Distinction average and tutored the postgraduate course Computational Statistical Methodologies.
Inspired by his experiences and driven by a desire to make a difference, Matthew founded SkyHyve Pty Ltd with the goal of bringing real mathematical power to educators and helping them to make informed decisions that benefit both teachers and students.
With Matthew at the helm, SkyHyve is dedicated to bringing the best possible analytics tools to educators, helping them make informed decisions and drive improvement in their schools. We are proud to have such a talented and passionate leader guiding our company's vision.
